Contra-indication: when can you not use Sambrosa Original
When there is a known sensitivity to doxylamine or when there appears to be a sensitivity to doxylamine. Furthermore one should not use Sambrosa Original in case of:
- An acute asthma
- Glaucoma
- Tumour in the adrenal medulla
- Prostatomegaly: the enlargement of the prostate gland
- Acute intoxication because of alcohol, sleep- or painmedication or anti-depressants
- Epilepsy
- Simultaneous intake of anti-depressants
Sambrosa Original can only be prescribed with strict supervision of a doctor in case of:
- A limited liver function
- Damage to the heart and high blood pressure
- Chronic bronchitis and asthma
- Flow back of acidity of the stomach to the gullet
Furthermore Sambrosa Original is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
Side effects
The following side effects may occur when using Sambrosa Original: dizziness, drowsiness, coordination difficulties, headaches, dry mouth and throat, constipation, urine retention and pupil widening.
